In Season 1 of UFOs (Studio Canal), Didier Mathure, the very definition of a rational being, was thrust into a new position as the head of GEPAN, an investigative bureau specializing in unidentified flying objects. In his encounters with would-be spaceships and wacked-out eyewitnesses, this steadfast purveyor of truth and logic was eventually forced to change his worldview when he stumbled across a supernatural phenomenon that utterly shattered his grasp on truth and science. At the end of Season 1, Didier spotted a UFO. A real one. Now there was no doubt in his mind – this was extraterrestrial contact.
As Season 2 begins, Didier is reunited with his former colleagues from GEPAN around the new UFO mystery, diving straight into a new quest. This time, it’s not just about obtaining proof of alien intelligence but about making contact… at the risk of losing contact with his loved ones for good.
