Philippe Lefebvre (Detectives) stars in and directs the funny and heartwarming family comedy Make Love Not Kids (Federation International) about three very different couples living in the Paris suburbs.

On the surface, Odile (Constance Dollé) and Alexandre (Philippe Lefebvre) live a quiet life with their three children – along with Alexandre’s mother, Claudine, who suffers from Alzheimer’s. But Claudine has been hiding a family secret which she inadvertently reveals, one which will turn Alexandre’s life upside down. And Odile, following a classroom incident with her son Armand, is desperate to get the kids into a private school – much to their horror!

Anissa (Amelle Chahbi) and Serge (Fred Testot) have been living together for six months. Each has a daughter with their respective ex-spouses, Valérie and Clément – both of whom are both a little too present in their new lives…

Mei (Linh-Dan Pham) and Chang (Xing Xing Cheng) are political refugees from China. They run the neighborhood coffee bar and have a son: Jean-Paul, named after Sartre. But when their landlord moves in and threatens their business, Mei is faced with a dilemma.

All these very different characters share the same desire to be loving parents, but each tackles that challenge in their own unique way.  So get ready for six episodes of heartfelt family drama, unexpected surprises and plenty of laughs – all with a French twist!
