A marriage falls apart and a custody battle begins between Anna (Greta Scarano) and Enrico (Simone Liberati, Petra). As a social worker retraces their marriage and parenting, we see both happier times full of love and buried deep secrets.

This 10-episode thriller is set in the early 90s in Italy when mass corruption is uncovered by “operation clean hands”. The series is based on the real investigation by policeman Luca Pastore (played by Domenico Diele) and politician Antonio Di Pietro (played by Antonio Gerardi), as they uncover scandals pervasive enough to take down the entire ruling class of Italy.
