First Look: Wilsberg (Season 1)

Georg Wilsberg is a good-natured guy in his 50s who sells antique books in Münster but works as a private detective on the side… he has a hole in his pocket so he never has any cash… he doesn’t have a car so he often ‘borrows’ any available vehicle… he has a love-hate relationship with the local policewoman who heads up Münster’s Homicide division…  he frequently burgles private homes to collect evidence. Welcome to the world of Wilsberg! This beloved German series has been in production since 1995 and is based on the novels by Jürgen Kehrer.  Who, incidentally, makes the occasional cameo appearance in episodes. In this clip, Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) has dinner with his high-school crush who’s in town for mysterious reasons.
