The Ducktail Bandit Berry Fizz is named after Arno Funke – AKA the Ducktail Bandit – an eccentric inventor who used his talent for gadgets to build bombs in his kitchen, detonating them overnight at high-end department stories as leverage for extortion. Based on the true story of Funke’s cat-and-mouse game in 1980s Germany, I Am Scrooge is sure to thrill!
- 1/4 c. berries of your choice
- 2 oz. gin
- 1/2 oz. sweetened lime juice
- Ice
- Champagne or prosecco (add to taste)
- Berries & a lime slice (optional garnish)
Muddle berries in a shaker. Add gin, lime juice, and ice. Shake. Strain and pour into a glass. Top with champagne, garnish with berries and lime slice, and enjoy!
(For a nonalcoholic version, skip the gin and try a NA prosecco or elderflower seltzer.)
