As the trial of Sonja’s brother, Niklas, and his crooked partner begins, the key prosecution witness is brutally murdered. Detective Emil Svensson tries desperately to entice Sonja to testify against her brother, and she comes to realize this might be the best way to protect her family. But when Niklas learns that Sonja is back in Sweden, he tries to scare her into silence, with terrible consequences for all involved.
