Originally premiering on Austrian TV in 1994, Inspector Rex (Beta Films) was an uber-popular international hit featuring the exploits of German Shepherd police dog Rex, his partners and the rest of the gang at the Vienna Criminal Police as they work together to solve often surprisingly hard-hitting crimes in the historic and picturesque Austrian capital.

Last season, we said goodbye to Karl Markovics as Ernst Stockinger aka Stocki left the series bound for his own spinoff. Luckily, the rest of the human cast is on-hand for Season 3, led by Tobias Moretti as Rex’s handler/roommate Richard Moser, Wolf Bachofner as Peter Höllerer and Graham Zemann as Dr. Leo Graf. Joining them for the fun is Heinz Weixelbraun as the dapper Christian Böck.
