Season 8 of the French crime drama Cassandre once again follows Chief Commissioner Florence Cassandre (Gwendoline Hamon), a former Paris detective who relocated to Annecy to be closer to her son after a family crisis. Now firmly established in the picturesque lakeside city, Cassandre leads a dedicated investigative team while balancing demanding cases with her evolving personal life. She is joined by Captain Pascal Roche (Alexandre Varga), whose close professional partnership with Cassandre continues to deepen, and the dependable Jean-Paul Marchand (Dominique Pinon), whose experience and dry wit remain invaluable during every investigation.

When a murder interrupts a wedding celebration, everyone becomes a suspect. Forced to investigate with limited resources and conflicting eyewitness accounts, the detectives must piece together the truth before the storm lifts.
