A lot of the fun of Tatort: Borowski is watching how Klaus plays off various female partners. In the beginning, there was the police psychologist Frieda Jung (Marren Eggert), whose frustration with him led to love, although his commitment to police work ultimately wore her out. Then there was Sarah Brandt (Sibel Kekilli), who first appeared as a plucky side character in Season 2 in “Borowski and the Matter of Pure Taste.”  She went on to become a policewoman and serve as Borowski’s partner in the next few seasons. They hit some bumps when it became obvious that her epilepsy put her and Borowski in danger in the field. He kept the info about her sudden seizures to himself, but under protest.

This season, we meet Mila Sahin (Almila Bagriacik), who shows up at the station with a punching bag in her office, fresh from serving with the LKA in the Kidnapping and Human Trafficking division. She’s sharp, but how will she get in step with the legendary Borowski and all his idiosyncrasies?

Based on this clip, looks like she’ll do just fine.
