Servus! Welcome back Moritz Eisner and Bibi Fellner for more iconoclastic crime-solving in the penultimate season of Tatort: Vienna! Played by Harald Krassnitzer and Adele Neuhauser, Eisner and Fellner continue to blend the same sharp police work, dry humor and complex personal chemistry that has drawn Tatort audiences to them for decades.

In the season premiere, the pair seem to be faced with a straightforward double homicide when a jealous husband confesses to killing his wife and her friend – but the case quickly unravels when the defendant is acquitted, only for the lawyer to turn up dead and the suspect to disappear…

Then, the second episode thrusts the Vienna investigators into unsettling territory after the body of a Catholic priest, reputedly an exorcist, is found with an occult amulet – leading the detectives through a maze of religious extremism, hidden motives and eerie clues…

Later in the season, Moritz celebrates his 60th birthday and the pair also become enmeshed in a local mafia war, visit a pig farm and… star in their very own hip-hop music video??

Sadly, this is indeed the penultimate season of Tatort: Vienna as Harald Krassnitzer and Adele Neuhauser have announced their retirement from the series. Season 5 will consist of four final episodes, but the Austrian premiere dates for these have not been confirmed yet.
