Nordic crime meets beautiful island scenery in The Sandhamn Murders, based on the popular novels by Viveca Sten. Alexandra Rapaport (Gåsmamman) returns as prosecutor Nora Linde, along with Norwegian star Nicolai Cleve Broch (Acquitted, Beforeigners) as charming police officer Alexander.

Season 11 opens with an episode titled “Linnea” – a tense mystery rooted in personal conflict and fractured relationships. The story begins when a prominent business leader collapses and dies during a lavish launch party for a foundation created in memory of his late daughter. Alexander is assigned to the investigation while the new police chief Rakel calls in prosecutor Nora, forcing an uncomfortable reunion between the two. As the case unfolds, the investigation exposes hidden tensions among the suspects and reveals emotional undercurrents within the police team itself. “Amanda”, the final feature-length episode of the season, balances a high stakes crime story with an unexpectedly playful sense of humor that runs through even its tensest moments. This one is a lot of fun, folks! The humor is definitely character-based and comes not only from the regular cast, but from the two “criminal masterminds” (he says sarcastically) who hatch the robbery which turns into the accidental kidnapping that sets the rest of the story in motion. Their interplay is pure catnip and worth the price of subscription alone! Throw in Nora and the gang, and the season definitely ends on a high note that leaves you wanting more…
