Tatort: Falke Season 2 brings together the five most recent episodes featuring Wotan Wilke Möhring as Hamburg investigator Thorsten Falke, a federal police officer with a working-class background who tends to trust his instincts as much as procedure. He is also very much a loner, living alone with his cat Elliot.
The season opens with the tense episode “Echoes of the Past” which once again brings Falke together with his longtime partner Julia Grosz (Franziska Weisz). Later in the season, “Lost in Madness” takes Falke to Hanover where he joins forces with Inspector Anaïs Schmitz (Florence Kasumba, Black Panther), Charlotte Lindholm’s partner from Tatort: Lindholm.
The final two episodes form a two-part story that expands Falke’s world beyond Hamburg once again. “A Good Day” and “Black Snow” take place in the German-Dutch border region around Emden and Groningen. Falke is joined by new colleague Mario Schmitt (Denis Moschitto), a highly skilled cyber investigator, and Dutch detective Lynn de Baer (Gaite Jansen). Together they investigate a mysterious disappearance that draws them into a tense cross-border case.
Tatort: Falke streams September 29th, 2026 on MHz Choice.
