Move over, Batman and Zorro – there’s a new masked vigilante in town!

The Dutch crime thriller Anonymous revolves around a typical professional couple: middle-aged high school history teacher Jurre and his wife Sarr, a public prosecutor in Rotterdam. Jurre is stuck in a rut and Saar spends more time at the office than she does at home. Their teenage kids Ella and Boet are tuned out and getting into trouble at school. When Jurre saves a girl from a precarious situation during a Friday evening walk, he decides to keep it a secret from his family. But this act of impromptu heroism inspires him, and Jurre soon finds himself embarking on a quest for justice against the drug dealers who target his son…
