Fast-paced and hilarious, Ordinary People (Federation International) hails from Iceland and centers around the friendship of Vala (Vala Kristin Eiriksdottir) and Júlíana (Júlíana Sara Gunnarsdóttir). Best friends since drama school, Vala and Júlíana have taken different paths in life – with Vala in unsuccessful pursuit of an acting career while Júlíana had stepped away from acting to have two children with her dim-witted husband Tómas (Hilmar Guðjónsson in a scene-stealing performance).
As Season 3 begins, Júlíana and Vala are together again starring in the prestige Icelandic medical drama On Shift from first-time director Siggi. Well, maybe “prestige” isn’t exactly the best way to describe it…
