At the end of Mafiosa Season 3, Sandra (Hélène Fillières) leaves Bastia at the urging of her brother to flee from nationalist extremists. In her absence, she places her brother Jean-Michel in charge of operations, with the assurance he would continue things in her absence.

However, upon returning to Bastia, Sandra finds a bastardized version of her empire with her associates pushed aside and replaced by Jean-Michel’s. When he hears of her return, Jean-Michel calls for a meeting with his sister to explain the new dynamic.

Powerless, Sandra heads to Paris to plot the retaking and expansion of her empire.
