Despite mounting threats against him, Cattani is determined to uncover the truth and destroy the formidable group. This beloved Italian drama series, which translates to “The Octopus,” ran from 1984 to 2001 and found popularity in the Soviet Union. The first seven seasons chart Cattani’s mission while the final three are prequels that take a historical look at the Mafia in the 1950s and ’60s.
