Season 15 continues with “Murder In the Green Perigord” set in the verdant heart of southwestern France – a landscape known as Périgord Vert, defined by dense forests, rolling hills and Romanesque villages.
The story begins when a body is discovered near a historic estate, staged in a way that suggests a ritualistic link to local legend. The investigation is led by a determined gendarme captain played by Adrien Rob, who also appeared in Season 8 Episode 9 (“Murder In… Dunkirk”) and a judicial police officer played by Andréa Furet, previously seen in Season 1 Episode 5 (“Murder In… The Cevennes”). As they dig deeper, long buried family secrets, inheritance disputes and rivalries tied to land ownership come to light – which is only to be expected, this is Murder In… of course!
Shot on location in the Dordogne, the film uses the Green Perigord’s oak forests, limestone manors and misty river valleys as more than a backdrop. The setting shapes the mystery itself, weaving regional history and folklore into a tense procedural that blends character drama with atmospheric suspense.
“Murder In… The Green Perigord” streams March 17th, 2026 on MHz Choice.
