In the first season of Croatian-Ukrainian crime drama The Silence, detective Vladimir Kovac, reporter Stribor Kralj and Ukrainian expat Olga Horvatić are all pulled into a trafficking investigation after the bodies of three girls appear in Eastern Europe. At the start of season 2, the case of abused minors has closed, the culprit is gone, and the investigation has ended.
But a year after the murder of the abused girls, someone starts murdering politically powerfully men. It soon becomes clear that the murders are not random. Someone is taking justice in their own hands. Someone who does not want to remain silent and does not want to forget. Someone who the public calls the “Osijek Avenger.”
While trying to resolve personal dramas, murders and international arms trafficking, our heroes realize that the price of fighting for a better tomorrow is high, but worth paying.
The Silence Season 2 is now streaming on MHz Choice.
