The days are getting darker, and so are the series on MHz Choice: November is a great month for fans of crime dramas! With two new seasons of Tatort favorites, a chilly Finnish noir, and the final season of Gåsmamman, crime dramas are king this month.

But let’s also not forget the big drama of the month: Season 3 of German hit Das Boot, which premieres November 10. Three thrilling storylines intertwine in this season: Chief engineer Ehrenberg and his crew have to fulfill an impossible mission; Forster and Hoffmann find themselves working together in Lisbon; and in Kiel, Hannie Lessing struggles with the boundaries of her status and subsequently plays with fire…

German-language fans can also look forward to three titles in November: Tatort: Lindholm returns for a third season on November 3, while Tatort: Harbor Crimes Season 2 closes out the month. Plus, there’s new series Böwe & König. That’s right: long-time MHz Choice fans will recognize Katrin König from the series Bukow and König! In the new series, Rostock detectives König and Melly Böwe tackle complex cases as König adjusts to life without her former partner.

On November 17, Swedish crime drama Gåsmamman reaches its much-anticipated finale. As Nina’s quest for revenge against her mother over past betrayals fuels dangerous alliances and violent confrontations, the Ek family is torn apart by shifting loyalties, dark secrets, and a race for redemption; forcing them to confront whether they can finally push past old grudges and find peace.

Scandinavian fans can also anticipate Finnish crime drama Icebreaker, a chilling series that follows Coast Guard officer Sanna Tanner as she leads a rescue mission of a Finnish icebreaker ship that turns into a fight for survival.

Finally, a rare English-language series joins MHz Choice when U.K. crime drama Curfew asks the question of what the world would look like if men faced a nightly curfew.
