It’s not an exaggeration to say that although February might be the shortest month, it might also be one of the biggest on MHz Choice in 2026.

First, the big ones: all-new seasons of eternal fan favorites Murder In… and The Sandhamn Murders will both debut this month. Season 15 of Murder In… will take viewers across the country, from Saint Martin and The Green Perigord to Corsica and even The French Open. Meanwhile, Season 11 of The Sandhamn Murders finds Nora and Alexander working together after a deep betrayal.

Also returning in February is French mystery Cassandre Season 5 and the U.S. premiere of The Paradise Season 3. The Finnish crime drama takes a turn this season: criminal investigator Hilkka Mäntymäki faces a new challenge when a young Spanish man and his wife are found shot dead in Finland.

And then there are brand-new shows to fall in love with! French mystery Tom and Lola is what fans of Detectives have been waiting for: a light mystery about two lifelong friends who are detectives, reluctant roommates… and complete opposites.

Two Nordic crime dramas add their own spin to the genre. Gritty Danish series Norskov is a tense, small town crime drama rooted firmly in place and character. Crime on Your Mind, meanwhile, is wonderfully stylish Finnish crime drama about a has-been detective novelist (Mikko Leppilampi, Freeing Embrace, Arctic Circle) whose neighbor helps with his writer’s block by introducing him to the criminal underworld.

Finally, Elsa Morrante’s La Storia is a somber Italian drama based on the 1972 novel that tells the tragic story of a widowed teacher who fights to protect her family as the Second World War engulfs the country.

All-in-all, February is truly one of those months where there’s something for everyone on MHz Choice.
