Set in the port city of Le Havre, Haven of Grace is a French Noir crime drama that quickly sucks you into the complicated life of Pierre Leprieur (Olivier Gourmet) and his family.

The Leprieurs are fully entwined and practically synonymous with the business of the docks. Pierre is the patriarch, a dock worker and former union organizer who narrates each episode while reflecting on the choices he’s made. He has spent his career as a bulwark against the dangerous drug traffickers who use the docks (and their workers) for illicit profits. His sons meanwhile are not as law-abiding as their father or their sister Emma (Margot Bancilhon), a Parisian lawyer.

The lines between criminal and law-abiding become blurrier over the course of the six episodes as all three siblings navigate a series of events with increasing impact on the family.
