There’s more than a hint of Stephen King in this eerie fever dream of an episode, as Freddy and Max encounter the strange denizens of an impoverished rural community and their disturbed children. Spooky direction by Niki Stein, who helmed some of the most memorable of the early Tatort: Cologne episodes.
