The Cases of Attorney Guerrieri follows the titular Guido (Alessandro Gassmann, The Bastards of Pizzofalcone, Un Professore): depressed and recently separated, but an incredibly successful lawyer with a charm and self-awareness that always wins the trust friends and colleagues. As Guerrieri says himself, cases are won in the field first and the courtroom second.

Standing alongside him in his work is a small cast of memorable characters: Carmelo Tancredi (Michele Venitucci), a reserved police inspector who handles everything nobody else wants to touch — the most heinous crimes — and Guerrieri’s only male friend; Annapaola Doria (Ivana Lotito), a former crime reporter turned private investigator who’s afraid of no one and carries a baseball bat in her backpack; Consuelo Favia (Lea Gavino), who starts as an intern at the firm and grows into a partner; and a rotating universe of women who are swooned by Guerrieri’s charm.
