Chief Inspector Johanna “Jo” Haizinger (Katharina Stemberger, Murder by the Lake) and her unflappable partner Ben Halberg (Daniel Gawlowski) are back. In Season 2 their team faces an unlucky 13 new cases that reach well beyond Linz’s postcard-perfect old town and into the lakes, farms and campsites of Upper Austria.

This season, the team races to catch hackers who have hijacked the city’s traffic control system, untangle the death of a climate influencer found after a demonstration, and investigate a terminally ill man killed by a crossbow in his own apartment. The season’s most personal case comes when a fellow officer’s daughter disappears.

Jo’s intuition and Ben’s zen-like calm are still the heart of the show, and the cases are as twisty and topical as ever.
