Movie of the Week is exactly what the title promises: a new French TV movie every week! Feature-length, standalone stories spanning the gamut of genres, from drama, comedy and romance to fantasy, mystery and thrills – but keeping it on the lighter side for the most part. (You won’t find many – if any – murders here, we have plenty of other series for that!) And for fans of those other French shows, there will be familiar faces turning up from time to time…

To kick things off, A Change of Heart stars Pierre Arditi from Blood of the Vine as Professor Berthelot, a brilliant, brittle surgeon with his own private practice who learns what it’s like to be on the other end of the scalpel when he is diagnosed with a serious heart ailment – and, for the first time, experiences life in a public hospital!
