This year, MHz Choice will premiere at least one new episode of the iconic franchise Tatort every week. In fact, over 80 new episodes will premiere in 2025!

For the uninitiated, the Tatort franchise (translating to “Crime Scene” in English) is the iconic, and longest continuous running television drama in German history. Tatort is a police procedural drama that has been broadcase since 1970 and airs on ARD which is the national public broadcast network for Germany.

At the end of 2024, MHz Choice was home to 11 series from the Tatort franchise, from 1981’s Tatort: Schimanski through more modern additions like Tatort: Streets of Berlin.

In 2025, fans of this classic franchise can expect new seasons of Tatort: Cologne (featuring favorite duo Max and Freddy), plus at least three additional series: Tatort: Harbor Crimes (streaming January 28), Tatort: Falke (streaming in February), and Tatort: Münster (streaming in June).
