It’s no time to relax, however, because there’s trouble in paradise. Season 3’s most somber plot thread concerns Sarah Jane, who confessed to her childhood friend, Mairi that the reason she left the island years ago was because of a rape – a rape perpetrated upon her as a teenager.
As this season begins, Sarah Jane finds herself in the same room with the man who has haunted her nightmares ever since she fled the island. A man with whom her husband has unknowingly renewed his acquaintance and brought into their home.
