Season 15 continues with “Murder In… Audierne” – the third in a trilogy which began with Season 12 Episode 4 “Murder In Finistre” and continued in Season 14 Episode 5 “Murder In Guilvinec”.

This time, our returning investigators are Captain Morgane Ledantec (Évelyne Bouix, who also played a different character in Season 8 Episode 2 “Murder In Land’s End”) and Captain Jeremy Laubier (Jeremy Banster, also a veteran of Season 10 Episode 3 “Murder In Frioul Island” and Season 12 Episode 2 “Murder In Charente”). Former colleagues with contrasting methods, they reunite when a young surfer is found shot dead on a beach. Laubier leads the official homicide investigation while Morgane brings an intuitive, almost anthropological perspective rooted in local lore.

The story is set in motion at La Torche, Brittany’s iconic surfing spot, where the victim’s death uncovers unexpected links to the legend of the sunken city of Ys. As the inquiry unfolds, the investigation shifts between police procedure, academic clues and a troubled family dynamic. Filmed largely in Douarnenez and across the Finistère coastline, the mix of surf culture, maritime heritage and mythic landscapes gives the film a distinctive regional identity where environment and story are tightly intertwined.
