We’re back visually commuting between sunny Costa del Sol, Spain and Oulu, Finland as yet another cross-border mystery is in need of solving.

This time Hilkka Mäntymäki (Riitta Havukainen, Freezing Embrace) and Andrés Villanueva (Fran Perea) discover the grim byproducts of an international criminal organization which exploits desperation in the most extreme way. The events of the season are triggered by the tenacity of detective Luisa Salinas (Maria Romero) who has unexpectedly returned from the Madrid police department. The circumstances of Luisa’s return make her more focused than ever as she, Andrés and Hikka go further into the underbelly of “the paradise” that is Costa del Sol.
