At the end of Mafiosa Season 4, Tony (Eric Fraticelli) and Manu’s (Philippe Corti) plan to kill Sandra (Hélène Fillières) goes awry when Manu suffers a heart attack at the sight of Carmen (Phareelle Onoyan) in the car with Sandra. Subsequently, when Carmen and Sandra arrive at their destination, Sandra is taken into custody by Quilichini (Denis Braccini) and Damiani (Jean-Philippe Ricci). In front of her niece, Sandra is arrested for the murder of her brother and Carmen’s father Jean-Michel (Thierry Neuvic).

As Sandra is being arrested, Carmen confronts her about what the police are saying; Sandra quickly lowers her gaze to avoid the subject. This act confirms Carmen’s worst suspicions and fears: Auntie Sandra is also her father’s assassin.

As Season 5 begins, armed with this knowledge and her father’s inheritance, Carmen is out for revenge on Sandra at any cost.

Season 5 is the final season of Mafiosa.
