Set in a TV weather department, Austrian comedy-drama Walking on Sunshine started off with former prime time news anchor Otto Czerny-Hohenburg, his career derailed by drink, taking a job as a lowly weather forecaster in an attempt to regain his past TV glory – despite the fact he has absolutely no qualifications for this new position and his resentful sister-in-law runs the station!

Now as the fourth seasons begins, Otto is once again on a journey of self-discovery and drives the entire weather department crazy in the process. But everything will be fine – right? Tilia Konstantin stumbles from one scandal to the next, which is why she has to ask her ex-husband Karl (Otto’s brother) for help. And while Jana and Lukas finally try to sort out their messed-up relationship, Möttl, Madeleine and Moritz also have to redefine their relationship statuses. This leaves Sandra (“My name is Schön – I’m Sandra”) as the only one not wanting to reveal anything about her private life, with Conny prefering to focus her energies on getting ahead professionally. Then there’s the opaque Ignaz, still a thorn in Otto’s side, and program director Ekkehard Jennes, whom Tilia would gladly do without. And watching over all the shenanigans are gossip reporter Sue Sattel and Tilia’s loyal secretary Astrid. Ruschel Wuschel!
